Vahid, an Azerbaijani car mechanic, was once imprisoned by the Iranian regime, where he was repeatedly interrogated and tortured while blindfolded. One day, a man named Eghbal enters his workshop. The squeaking of his prosthetic leg leads Vahid to believe that he recognizes one of his former tormentors in Eghbal. Out of revenge, he kidnaps the man. But doubts soon arise as to whether the kidnapped man is really who Vahid thinks he is.
