Jane's Walk Pedestrian Traffic Festival 2026:
Walk in 24 pictures from the Brudermühlbrücke over the Rosengarten to the dye works - an artistic experiment with graffiti, pinhole camera and the Ö_Werkstätten

Friday, May 8, 2026
2-4 p.m.: Walk | Meeting point: Under the Brudermühlbrücke bridge
4-7 p.m.: Ö_Werkstätten | Färberei, Claude-Lorrain-Str. 25 / rear building

Chiara Meintzinger tells us about the Dösenöffner project, the annual repainting of the Brudermühlbrücke, and about the current artworks under the bridge. During the walk, which also takes us through the rose garden, we take pinhole camera photos with Tim Davies. From 4 p.m., we can look over Tim's shoulder as he develops the photos or experiment artistically in other ways at the Ö_Werkstätten in the dye works. And maybe there will be a surprise or two along the way!

The walk takes place in all weathers; please wear clothing suitable for the weather.
Participation is free of charge - donations are welcome.

The Jane's Walk Pedestrian Traffic Festival 2026 from May 3 to 10, 2026 in Munich

The walk takes place as part of the "Jane's Walk Pedestrian Festival 2026", which invites everyone to take part in walks to explore the city.

The festival is organized by the Initiative Fußverkehr München, an association of Bund Naturschutz Kreisgruppe München e.V., FUSS e.V. Ortsgruppe München, Green City e.V. and VCD Kreisverband München e.V. Numerous associations and initiatives offer walks that show new sides of Munich and encourage conversation. All walks are free of charge.
