Ein orientalischer Abend mit Iran Ava und Ido Spak the Jazz Traveler

Yaser Bayat is a multi-instrumentalist and composer who plays traditional Persian instruments such as setar, baglama, santur, kamancheh, daf and many more. He has composed music for more than 60 professional theater and film productions, played hundreds of concerts with various bands, including Shahnazi and Chehel Daf, in Iran and other countries such as Poland, Armenia, Italy, Qatar, Turkey and Germany. Yaser Bayat has been living in Berlin since 2021. He has been working as a music teacher at the Global Music School since September 2022. By founding the music group "Iran Ava", Yaser Bayat wants to initiate a musical dialog between Iranian and international instruments.

Ido Spak is a Jewish piano virtuoso with training in classical music and jazz. His music is a jazz fusion with classical and Middle Eastern influences. He has released several albums with his own jazz trio and has toured in Germany and abroad. He is also a pianist and arranger for various projects in the fields of hip-hop, soul and classical music.
