In the organizer's words:
Helena & Annie, passionate chanson singers for many years, got to know each other at the chanson workshop of the renowned Brecht interpreter Gina Pietsch. Each of their songs tells a little story from life - melancholic, cheeky, cheerful or sensual - captured and carried by the sounds of the piano.
They offer a colorful variety of songs from Friedrich Hollaender, Barbara, Jaques Brel, Hilde Knef to Rio Reiser and Veronika Fischer. On the piano: Uwe Matschke
