Sebastian Hotz, born in 1996, grew up in Franconia, completed a dual degree in economics in Erlangen/Nuremberg before the twists and turns of the internet led him first to Bielefeld and finally to Berlin.
His socially critical and accurate posts on Instagram and Twitter are read by 1.5 million people every day. His debut novel MINDSET was a bestseller. His new novel SIDEKICK will be published in April.
SIDEKICK is a skillful play with "cult" TV characters and the culture wars of our present day - a media satire as a road movie in which similarities with real people are, of course, purely coincidental.
