End of summer party with big book sale
Summer is over, the second half of the year is coming - and we're sending the warm season into the sunset with books, drinks and good company.
At the "End of Summer" we invite you once again to the backyard on Ackerstraße: with a big book sale (science, philosophy, religious criticism, etc.), relaxed conversations, cold drinks and plenty of opportunity to stock up on reading material and new ideas for the fall.
All books will be sold at special prices of €3, €5 or €10.

We are also launching the "Archive of the Summer" together : visitors can leave short notes: What idea has been on your mind this summer? Which book changed your perspective? What hope are you taking with you into the fall? What social development worries you? What should we definitely discuss further?
Your thoughts will be collected anonymously on a line and pinned up with clothespins - as a shared picture of your mood between summer evening, the world situation and enlightenment.
The result is a small public archive of thoughts: personal, political, philosophical and sometimes absurd. No pathos, no esotericism - but a reminder that democracy and enlightenment thrive on people sharing, questioning and developing their thoughts.
Whether long-time DA! members, curious new discoverers or spontaneous backyard guests - everyone is welcome. Let's say goodbye to summer together and start the fall.
