What happens when wheelchair dancers and roller skaters meet? What do they have in common apart from their wheels? In THE WHEELIE SHOW, they ride together through political landscapes and circle around social norms. They support each other, challenge each other and inspire each other to build a playful and inclusive society. Together, they experiment with movements and search for new formations. In the process, the wheels roll off, speed increases and efficiency is left behind: THE WHEELIE SHOW presents solidarity on wheels and focuses on creativity, connection and the joy of movement at any pace. Eng Kai Er, choreographer and performer from Singapore, last showed the work CAT BROCCOLI BED HAMMER at Kampnagel in 2023 as part of her residency at K3 - Center for Choreography.
