In Starcatcher, the ensemble risonanze erranti presents music from different cultures that deal with mysticism and celestial phenomena. The Iranian composer Nastaran Yazdani, who was Kaija Saariaho's assistant, combines Iranian tradition with Western music. In "An der Lichtscheune", Nikolaus Brass deals with a mystical experience in the Salgenreuthe chapel. Sidney Corbett refers to poetry by Emily Dickinson in "THEREOF". Peter Tilling's affirmative-hymnal work "A Message, a spell and a happy end" combines fast-paced movement studies with improvisational surfaces that refer to experiences of nature.
