Personalized medicine - also known as precision medicine - promises individually tailored therapies: Diagnostics and treatment should be geared more closely to the individual person - to biological characteristics, state of health and life circumstances. But how individual can precision medicine be? What factors can it take into account? For which diseases does it have advantages, and where does it reach its limits? Personalized medicine is also considered expensive. Will it be available to everyone?

At Enter: Science, experts discuss the potential, costs and fair access with the audience. The end result is a question that cannot be answered in a laboratory: How do we create medicine that not only takes into account the specifics of the individual, but is also available and affordable for everyone?
