Equal Care Day

In the organizer's words:

In a mixture of conference and festival, we are celebrating the utopia of a fair distribution of care work with you. Under the motto "Distributing care work fairly - strengthening democracy", you can expect exciting talks, hands-on activities and discussions - with a focus on how fair care distribution contributes to a resilient democracy.

The keynote speech will be given by Jo Lücke, author and co-founder of the League for Unpaid Work (LuA). This will be followed by discussions in dialog forums on young carers, utopias against the exhaustion of women and gender-equitable education. In the afternoon, there will be an exciting panel discussion on the topic of commitment and care with Jo Lücke (LuA), Manuela Nachtigall (mother and former firefighter), Mina Mittertrainer (sociologist) and Natascha Sagorski (author and activist). The event will be moderated by Kristina Weber (Eltern ohne Filter, BR). Entertainment will be provided by rapper Gündalein and actor and patron of the Equal Care Day in Munich Martin Walde.
