With their new album, they present a collection of songs that capture the attitude to life of a generation that is searching for its place between burnout and self-discovery, between the struggle for existence and the desire for freedom. Founded out of the need to create a real antithesis to the smooth pop landscape, ERECTION has developed into a band that picks up its listeners where words fail. Their music combines modern pop and electro elements with rocking directness and a lyrical openness that is rarely found. The new record shows this ambivalence more clearly than ever: loud and quiet, hard and fragile, dark and at the same time full of longing for light. The song "Ich Will Mehr" opens the spectrum of the album thematically. It tells of the pressure of functioning everyday life and the desire to break out. With "I Don't Wanna Die" , the band delves deep into emotional abysses.
