An entertaining ride through the last decades, from the everyday to the unspeakable, from the absurd to the familiar, which tips over into the unreal, from heart-warming personalities to abysmal embarrassments. Kornelia Boje brings together texts from many years of writing, observations, descriptions, stories and scenes.

It is impossible to lump them all together; together they are a wild mixture, as unconventional as they are down-to-earth, as linguistically creative as they are clearly understandable - and always very individual, from Boje's experience, from her observation, razor-sharp observation and the experience of everyday gender inequalities.

There are lorio-like dialogs caught in an infinite loop, couple relationships that seem impossible and yet seem so familiar. Sudden plunges into dark abysses are followed by comically Kafkaesque radio plays, insights into the struggles of the freelance artist, snapshots of never-ending moments of absurdity - this author writes the way she thinks, the way she experiences the world. And you don't want to stop nodding: yes, yes, yes!

Kornelia Boje, born in Berlin in 1942, is an actress, author and photographer. She has published novels, audio books and short stories, including Gesang der weißen Wände and Ullas Erwachen. She has shaped the German radio play and broadcasting scene since the 1950s and has appeared in numerous productions for NDR, WDR, BR, SWR and others. She has played major roles on renowned stages, for example in Brecht's Der gute Mensch von Sezuan. Her versatility is also evident in TV and film roles, extensive dubbing work as well as international readings and photo exhibitions.

Michael Wäser, born in 1964 in Saarland, is a writer and actor. After training at the Folkwang School, he worked at German state theaters before turning to writing. He developed screenplays, worked as a ghostwriter and published novels such as Familie Fisch macht Urlaub, In uns ist Licht and Das Wunder von Runxendorf. His texts have also appeared in several anthologies. Wäser ran a forum for victims of abuse, founded the "Geschichtenladen" and wrote for the edutainment project "multiverso", which has won several awards. He is a member of the VS and the Autorenkreis der Bundesrepublik.
