DiS Kicks Off in a Big Way

Go big or go home! The 10th “Dortmund Inclusive Sound Festival” kicks off with a culinary double feature. The 20-piece Central Heat Big Band from Arnhem (NL) serves up swing-style jazz and Sinatra magic. The second main course is brought to the stage by the 35 musicians of the band just fun from Bochum (Germany)—with driving rhythms, powerful horn sections, and concentrated energy from jazz, rock, pop, ska, and world music. Also performing: Cypher44 with an energetic hip-hop dance show.

The DiS Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary!

Since 2008, Dortmund’s inclusive sound festival has been held every two years, celebrating artistic diversity, active inclusion, and extraordinary encounters between music, theater, and art. This special anniversary year kicks off onAugust 29, 2026, witha grand opening atthe FZW Dortmund. Featuring:Just Fun, Central Heat, and other guests who will set the mood and deliver rousing sounds right from the start.
