Essen Original 2025

From May 9 to 11, 2025, the big Essen Original city festival will enter the next round. You can look forward to a varied weekend with a great atmosphere and outstanding music acts on three stages in Essen's city center. As in the previous year, numerous Essen-based organizations and institutions will be presenting themselves on the "Original Essen" mile with exciting hands-on activities for the whole family and many information stands.
The first two musical highlights on the Sparkasse Essen stage on Kennedyplatz are the exceptional German artist Loi ("Gold", "News" and "Am I Enough"), who strikes a chord with music lovers worldwide with her extraordinary voice, and the 29-year-old Brit Tom Gregory ("Never let me down", "Fingertips" and "River"). Gregory has already been awarded three gold records and one platinum record in Germany.
