In the organizer's words:
The sedimentation basins in the Ruhraue were once used for water extraction.
Since they were abandoned many decades ago, rare species such as
normally inaccessible area, rare species such as water rail
water rail and great crested newt have settled in the normally inaccessible area: A hotspot of
biodiversity, which is now a nature reserve.
Bring along: All-terrain shoes, binoculars if you like
Meeting point: Brockhauser Str. under the Kosterbrücke bridge. Approx. opposite
opposite the riding hall
