Sharing Instead of Owning—Are Sharing Services the Key to Urban-Friendly Mobility? Join us on a bike tour to explore the sharing services in Aachen.

Whether it’s e-scooters, Euregiobike, or car-sharing—the range of rental transportation options has grown significantly in recent years. What began as a “neighborhood car” has since expanded into a large network of car-sharing stations. And e-scooters have already proven their worth in many people’s daily lives, while for others they’re still unfamiliar. On this guided bike tour, we’ll stop at various stations. There, we’ll explore: How is the city of Aachen handling these relatively new forms of mobility? What efforts is it making to solve the problems associated with them?

The tour lasts about 2 1/2 hours. You can participate (free of charge) either with your own bike, e-bike, or e-scooter, or with an Euregiobike. If you’d like to use an Euregiobike, please register by 12:00 p.m. on September 21 byemailing mobilitaetsmanagement@mail.aachen.de.
