"Shrill, entertaining and funny in a thought-provoking way" (Concerto Magazine) - Fainschmitz's music is a hit at jazz festivals and techno parties, in concert halls and on the street. Since 2016, the five musicians have been touring Europe with their very own version of off-beat jazz. In 2018, the debut album Fainschmitz begins was released, "the Austrian summer jazz CD of 2018" (oe1), followed by The Fainschmitz rises in 2021, on which the band "combines a wink of the eye with depth without the heaviness of meaning, instrumental pieces with charming catchy tunes" (Falter). After a creative break, the third album Fainschmitz begins againdas follows in 2025. With a slightly different line-up, the band expands its musical language and once again juggles in a refreshingly charming way between exuberance and self-deprecating humor, seriousness and melancholy: Fainschmitz creates music "that you can let yourself be carried away by".
