The gripping live show brings Falco back to life on stage. The focus is on his countless hits, from "Der Kommissar" to the scandalous hit "Jeanny" and the worldwide sales hit "Rock Me Amadeus" to the post-mortem "Out Of The Dark", which is surrounded by legends. Crazy and visually stunningly staged with artistic projections and original video sequences, Falco - The Musical gives a deep insight into the (emotional) world of Hans Hölzel alias Falco, and also into his career - from the rocky beginning to the unsurpassed success.

AN AMBIVALENT GENIUS

On the one hand, Falco was an unparalleled musical talent: "Rock Me Amadeus" was the first and still the only German-language song to reach number one in the U.S. and UK charts - but at the same time, as a Viennese, Falco was very reluctant to sing a song about Mozart from Salzburg and only did so under pressure from his management. On the one hand shy and withdrawn, on the other known for drug excesses, extravagance and egotism, which ended in a tragic accident and Falco's much too early death. Falco - The Musical ventures into this ambivalent superstar, praises his successes and legacy, but also shows the darker side of the inscrutable genius and thus revives the fascination that once made Falco a world star.
