False Lefty are Veva (AT) on drums and Tom (GB) on guitar.
Reduced to the max - what may seem like a hackneyed advertising slogan at first glance is actually their credo. Three shabby drums and a worn-out guitar with three strings characterize the sound. As much as the setup evokes memories of the white stripes, the music does not.
False Lefty's unique style moves between alternative rock, indie and post-punk, with a strong rhythmic focus and skillful melodic songwriting. Sometimes even fragile and intimate, but always powerful, rhythmic and unmistakable.

False Lefty also stand for a new era of punk culture, and one inevitably wonders what is behind the unusual band name. Retrained lefties or righties pretending to be lefties? False Lefty is a clear stance and a working class ethos: more solidarity and less us-versus-them mentality, even between lefties. In other words:
"I'd rather be a false lefty than not be a lefty at all."
