Familien-Sinfoniekonzert: Haydn lässt's wirbeln!
In the organizer's words:
Discover Haydn’s Genius with Juri Tetzlaff and the KAP
Joseph enjoyed great success in London: The city loved his music and inspired him to compose a series of brilliant symphonies. Symphony No. 103 in E-flat major begins unusually—with a single, mysterious timpani roll before the entire orchestra joins in. The opening alone captivates the audience, after which a symphony full of unexpected twists and lively contrasts unfolds.
Festive, dance-like, and at times playful, Haydn demonstrates his unmistakable ingenuity here. Find out why this particular timpani roll is so special at our family symphony concert.
Starting at 3:00 p.m., there will be a group craft activity with Jacqueline Koschnitzki-Pflanz.
