Familienworkshop: Unter die Lupe genommen!

In the organizer's words:

How does a painting change from close up and from a distance? In the workshop, we use magnifying glasses to discover hidden details, materials and painting techniques in the exhibited works. As art detectives, we explore the exhibition and uncover the secrets of the paintings. In the workshop, we will creatively implement our discoveries and design our own works - from the smallest detail to the largest.

The workshop is part of the current exhibition "So Close, Yet So Far. Works from the Paul Ege Art Collection" at the PEAC Museum. The exhibition is dedicated to the exciting relationship between closeness and distance and unfolds across a wide range of media, from sculpture, photography and painting to sound, installation and video. In addition to works from the museum's collection, the exhibition also features new acquisitions that are being presented for the first time, including works by Myriam Holme and Stephan Baumkötter.
