The first piece of good news: after the last festival editions turned out to be conspicuously gloomy, there is now plenty of laughter again.

In the Korean sci-fi blockbuster ALIENOID: RETURN TO THE FUTURE, time and space are spectacularly mixed up, HUNDREDS OF BEAVERS is a cinematic gag show and pearl without equal, the master of absurd cinema Quentin Dupieux devotes himself to Salvador DAAAAAALI! of all people, and in the social satire DREAM SCENARIO, Nicolas Cage amazes us as a "dream man". The second piece of good news: there's also plenty to scare us! WHEN EVIL LURKS is one of the best exorcist films in a long time, the shocking RED ROOMS about horror on the dark web gets deep under your skin and genre master Ole Bornedal takes us back to the eerie morgue of a forensic institute with NIGHTWATCH: DEMONS ARE FOREVER and thus to the place of horror where his career began 30 years ago.
