Dani is spending the night alone in her lonely country house. Then there is a knock at the door. A sinister man is standing outside, claiming that an intruder has gained access to the walls and that her life is in danger. Should she believe the stranger? Some time later: Dani really did die that night. The alleged murderer is in a psychiatric ward. While her husband Ted is already in a new relationship, her blind twin sister, who deals in bizarre antiques and has clairvoyant powers, is determined to find out the truth about the bloody night.
Damian McCarthy proves himself to be a true master of horror with his second film after CAVEAT. His aesthetics are unique, the details are witty, every minor supporting character is on point and McCarthy always manages to scare us to death - even when we are expecting it.
