Workshop "Farbe im Raum"

In the organizer's words:

Color is more than just decoration. It shapes the atmosphere, mood and spatial effect.

So how can you transform rooms with color?

Participants will learn how colors work in a room and harmonize with each other. In the practical part, you will develop individual design ideas using your own room photos (please bring your own!). An exclusive room and color workshop.

Anja Reitemeyer loves colors. She studied interior design and trained as a carpenter. She has been working as a Farrow & Ball expert for over 10 years and has been developing individually tailored color concepts for interiors as a color consultant ever since. In this workshop, she will take you into this world of interior and color design.

What you can expect: We will start with a theoretical part and you will learn the basics of color theory. We will look at the analysis of spatial structures and proportions, color combinations and the effect of color in space. What does color actually have to do with light and what with the materials available in the room? What should you pay attention to when choosing your own colors? In the practical part that follows, you will experiment and work creatively with Anja's support. You will develop initial color ideas for "your" room and create a small, personal mood board with your photos, color samples, notes, furnishing ideas, newspaper clippings and small sketches. Of course, you can also take part if you don't have a specific renovation project in mind! Perhaps you would simply like to rethink "your room" on paper and design it in color. And maybe you'll get the urge to implement it after all.

Please bring along:

- Printed photos of a room that you would like to change. if you have: floor plan of the room - preferably also: dimensions of the room (length, width, height).

- if you already have ideas for your room or elements that should definitely stay? Then please bring photos of furniture, lights or decorations.

- all other materials such as color samples, magazines, books for inspiration, paper, pens, scissors and glue are available for you.
