Refreshingly unconventional and with the playful experience of several hundred gigs with their sister band Stray Colors, concerts by the five musicians inspire with varied melodies, multi-faceted arrangements and plenty of drive. Sometimes political, sometimes poetic, Farbfilter always remain true to life and genuine.

The band recently drew attention to themselves in collaboration with Selig singer Jan Plewka with the re-release of the song "Mädchen aus Greifswald" about the danger of political appropriation from the far right.
