Cécile has made a name for herself by winning the cooking show "Top Chef". Together with her partner Sofiane, she plans to open her own gourmet restaurant in Paris. But when her father Gérard suffers a heart attack, her focus shifts. Cécile travels back to her home village to help out in the family business, L'Escale, which her parents run. In addition, an unplanned pregnancy turns her life upside down. While Gérard is supposed to be recovering, he has no intention of retiring from the kitchen - so Cécile's support is needed for longer than expected. In the midst of rural tranquillity, she meets her childhood sweetheart Raphaël, who has never moved away from the village. They spend carefree hours together and old feelings flare up again. When Sofiane suddenly appears in the provinces and learns of Raphaël's role in Cécile's life, she is faced with a difficult decision between past and future, heart and mind.
