Fem Slam

In the organizer's words:

As part of the fRAU* sein exhibition at Gemeinschaftshaus Langwasser, the FemSlam brings strong women's voices to the stage, with the open-air Fem Slam focusing exclusively on women and their poetry texts, while the audience is expressly open to everyone.

The evening thrives on the diversity of the texts: personal or political, loud or quiet, humorous or uncomfortable. Without thematic guidelines or stylistic boundaries, the Fem Slam shows different female perspectives - carried by the power of words and the active participation of the audience, who, as is usual with a poetry slam, have a say in the evening.

Yasmin Harms will host the program. With experience, sensitivity and self-irony, she creates an atmosphere as a slammer, presenter and organizer in which different voices are given space.


A summery open-air evening with honest performances and strong texts. In case of bad weather, the event will take place indoors.
