Finding words for what's working inside you - that's exactly what this creative writing workshop as part of the 'fRAU* sein' exhibition at Gemeinschaftshaus Langwasser is all about.in an open and appreciative space, Yasmin Harms invites you to explore your own thoughts, feelings and perspectives through writing.
With varied writing impulses, practical exercises and time to try things out, there will be space for personal texts between poetry, prose and free writing. No previous experience is necessary - anyone who wants to express themselves through writing, discover new approaches to language and gain confidence in their own voice is welcome.
The workshop will be led by Yasmin Harms, a slam poet from Nuremberg who has been performing on stages in southern Germany for over a decade - sometimes quiet and touching, sometimes angry and uncomfortable.
Personal, poetic, pointed: Yasmin gets to the heart of what others often only feel, and shares her enthusiasm for language, performance and creative writing.
Anyone who wants to and feels ready can present their own text in the evening at the open-air FemSlam. Participation is not judged by the performing slammers and offers the opportunity to gain your first stage experience.
