FEMGAZED.Festival

The fem.gazed façade festival in Witten is a feminist façade festival in which primarily FLINTA* artists create their works in the city center to make the city more colourful and vibrant. The festival aims to strengthen the local art scene, showcase diversity and promote community through art in public spaces. It is a social, cultural event that brings people of different generations and cultures together.

We will end the festival on July 6, 2025 from 4 pm with a cozy DJ picnic in the countryside on the grounds of the Saalbau. There will be music, food, drinks and merch.
The artists will also be on site and available to answer any questions. Artists, residents, owners and citizens of Witten, the local scene and all interested parties will come together, exchange ideas and celebrate the successful week.

There will be guided tours along the facades throughout the day.
The meeting point is the Saalbau forecourt (Bergerstraße 25, 58452 Witten)
