House of Namus // Open-Air Festival

The House of Namus Festival is an open-air music and culture festival.

The festival is taking place for the third time and aims to establish itself in Dortmund. This year, on 06.06.2026, the Dietrich-Keuning-Haus is our host and cooperation partner, as well as the Turkish Film Days Dortmund, as in the past two years.

House of Namus sees itself as a space for art, music, community and visibility, especially for LGBTQ+ perspectives. At the same time, it is also about "Namus" as a concept - a sense of pride, self-confidence and shared strength. With this festival, we bring international artists and activists from different countries and cities to Dortmund Nordstadt to celebrate music, performance and culture together. Our focus is especially on bringing migrant, female, queer and marginalized artists together with their audience and this is possible in the Dietrich-Keuning-Haus, a "safe space"

in Dortmund's Nordstadt district.

In addition to the stage program, there will also be an outdoor bazaar where independent artists and creative people can present and sell their handicrafts. At the same time, we also give organizations and initiatives that are connected to our values a space to present themselves and become visible. A special element of the festival is our Glam Station. During the day, guests can get small glam touches from professional drag make-up artists - glitter, rhinestones or creative make-up. So everyone can become part of the colorful and glamorous festival atmosphere. The festival program includes live music, DJ sets and performances. The program will also be enriched with drag performances and cultural dance shows.

An awareness team will of course be on site. The event will be opened by Keuning.haus director Levent Arslan and the House-of-Namus team.
