FEMSCAPESby CHARLOTTE CAROLIN SCHOBER brings together works in which inner landscapes and female identity emerge as multifaceted spaces of experience. Bodies do not appear as representations of individual persons, but as vessels of memory, emotion, and lived experience. They condense inner states without fixing them in place.

Situated between figuration and dissolution, the figures elude a single, unambiguous interpretation. In their ambivalence, they open up spaces of resonance where personal experience and collective experience converge. The works invite viewers to continually reexamine the relationship between the body, identity, and emotion.

The artist’s practice is characterized by an intensive engagement with color as an independent medium of expression. Vibrant, expressive, and yet harmoniously composed color palettes unfold an atmospheric density in which emotion and structure enter into a dynamic dialogue. Symbolic elements in the form of objects and colors are subtly integrated into the pictorial composition, opening up multi-layered levels of meaning. They function as semantic references that expand the visible and create a space for reflection between individual perception and collective visual worlds.
