Would you like to spend a week composing your own songs under the guidance of experienced music teachers?
FRANZ MEHLHOSE invites all music-loving school children (approx. 6-13 years) to take part in the FERIEN BAND PROJECT - regardless of experience. You can discover the fun of making music together in small groups! The workshop week takes place in MUSIKWERK's rehearsal rooms for 2×2 hours per day under the guidance of renowned music makers. At the end you will perform with your band at FRANZ MEHLHOSE in front of your fans.

All previous and fully booked FERIEN BAND PROJECTS have already been great successes. At the final concert, the children presented songs they had composed themselves, left a roaring audience in their wake and - due to popular demand - signed autographs.

The project received the "Best Artist Development" award from the Initiative Musik and the Federal Ministry of Culture in 2017.
