DE 2024, 97 min., Director: Clara Stella Hüneke, DF, FSK 6* (recommended for ages 10 and up)
Jamila is nine, Rachel eleven and Faseeha twelve when they take their first steps into a new hip-hop culture. The Berlin girls meet at a rap project, become friends and take off with the Sisterqueens crew. For four years, this documentary accompanies them through everyday life with parents, siblings and their unusual hip-hop family of choice, in which they learn a lot about hook lines and even more about self-respect.
