Festival de la Musique

To mark the time-honored “Fête de la Musique,” celebrated worldwide on June 21, the Institut Français (IF) Mannheim, in collaboration with the Mannheim Music School, is hosting a special open-air music festival: the“Festival de la Musique.”
A colorful array of musical genres awaits visitors on a specially erected stage. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. with the Mannheim Music School’sbig band festival. Then, at 3:30 p.m., the program organized by the IF begins with the Ensemble Fagotto Totale, followed by the band The New Orleans Gumbo Crabs(4:30 p.m.). Finally, the groupSales Gosses(6 p.m.) will round out the day of music.
