Andrés Caicedo’s obsessions with Gothic literature, fate, and violence were at the center of his life and work, and helped shape a unique aesthetic universe that gave rise to what came to be known as “Tropical Gothic”

Entre Trópicos, rooted in the Latin American musical diaspora, seeks to share this vast culture free from Eurocentric exoticism. We explore it from its deepest roots to its new electronic horizons, building bridges between Latin American artists and the diaspora in Berlin through concerts and cultural gatherings.
