Jako and Nabba like to play in the attic. One day, the children discover Nabba's grandma there. She is hidden away because she speaks in forbidden proverbs. When the children can no longer hide their interest in this language, there are consequences.
It is no different for Reu and Shah. In the world they live in, the left side of the body is frowned upon. Anything left-wing is considered ugly and bad. It happens on the school trip: Reu touches Scha's right hand with his left hand. That changes everything!
Evelyne and Adam realize how quickly a game that seems to work without rules can become serious. Together with Gordon, they play "Glump", but no one knows exactly what it is. So they keep coming up with new rules. Who knows where that will lead. It's just a game! Or is it?

In FICHTIG UND RALSCH, author Kristo Šagor strings together three experimental set-ups in which people have established rules that divide their world into good and evil and allow no gray areas. Thinking in black and white has its price, because life in totalitarian systems of power demands courage and courage to find personal freedom and live openly with one another.
