For over three turbulent decades now, Fiddler's Green have been one of the most popular and successful bands on the European folk rock scene and have shaped the entire genre with their rousing high-energy sound.

In 1990, while still students in a shared kitchen, they created a unique musical mixture with violin, accordion, brute drums and guitars in an informal way, which has been celebrated up and down the country ever since. From the Lowlands and Pinkpop Festival in Holland to Sweden Rock and celebrated appearances at the legendary metal festival in Wacken to the world-famous Montreux Jazz Festival or on one of their Japanese tours - Fiddler's Green have impressively demonstrated over the last 30 years that they easily transcend geographical and musical boundaries.

25 albums and four DVDs underline the band's success, giving a whole new dimension to the often overused expression "reinventing themselves". Fiddler's Green owe a large part of their career to a consistent creative development with the courage to try something new. This was the only way to create speed folk with guaranteed success! The Irish speed folk of the Fiddlers speaks an international language - the energy released at concerts is absorbed, reflected and carried on everywhere. The audience can now expect exactly this concentrated charge of merciless joy of playing and an Irish-folk punk rock firework display that leaves no one standing still. Even after more than three decades, Fiddler's Green still manage to surprise themselves and their fans - especially at their live shows.

Just before the turn of the year, on 29.12.2023, the long-awaited sixteenth studio album "The Green Machine" will be released.

In spring, the sextet from Franconia - Ralf Albers (lead vocals/guitar), Pat Prziwara (guitar/vocals), Rainer Schulz (bass), Stefan Klug (accordion), Tobias Heindl (violin, vocals) and Frank Jooß (drums) - will present the album live for the first time.
