A unique opportunity! The Munich Chamber Opera presents Mozart's opera comedy The Marriage of Figaro in a wonderfully surprising version: cleverly shortened and in German.
The trenchant translation makes the turbulent confusion about love and intrigue very approachable - every witticism and intonation comes across directly to the audience. According to the SZ, the careful cuts are only noticeable in how quickly the story gains momentum.
Nine first-class soloists and an enthusiastic orchestra will bring the chaos surrounding Figaro, Susanna and Count Almaviva to the Thon-Dittmer-Palais for an open-air evening on July 8.
