Not only is the year coming to an end, the band Fil der Protagonist are also performing together for the last time. Four years after the last concert and ten years after coming together in this line-up, it's time to say goodbye in style. And that's what we all want to do together with you on December 30 at Schleuse Zwei - celebrate the farewell.
We will be joined by special guest Crystal Glass and there will be a reading by Monia Tahar.

White as pitch: the band Fil der Protagonist operates in an exciting field between rap, indie and jazz. The lyrics speak of intense, emotional contrasts, from the warm feeling of contentment to ice-cold despair: "I'm sitting here with Brother Sleep and Father Death. Stunned."

With their album released in 2020 - the title is right at the beginning - Niklas Nadidai (keys), Felix Jan Nitsch (vocs), Paul Wunder (bass) & Thomas Dethmann (drums) finally break with their roots in beat hip hop and concentrate fully on their strengths: creating a lyrical and musical atmosphere that first envelops the listener and then suddenly grabs them.
