Sturmfrei in Hausen: Seven women spend seven days at a seminar in a farmhouse, the women want to discover themselves and each other. A community of women who want to find out together what freedom from constraints and freedom for themselves should be. This film was produced by a collective, the actresses conceived the film themselves, from the characterization of the roles to the costumes and make-up to the dramaturgy, and it works: Because the result is not a friendly, feel-good, self-discovery movie, but a film that juxtaposes the friction, the egoisms, the different world views. The arguments in the conversations about duties and constraints, relationships and family, the self and others stand side by side with equal legitimacy - and the dream sequences and music scenes result in wonderful cinematic moments.
