Smaug attacks the sea city of the people, but he must ultimately pay for this with his life. The death of the dragon, however, creates a new problem: Not only the surviving humans, but also the Elves lay claim to a part of the treasure under the Lonely Mountain. Thorin Oakenshield wants to prevent this, even if it means risking his life. All signs point to war between the actual allies. But the orcs also have a score to settle and deliver the common enemy in a gigantic battle.
