FILMFEST HAMBURG zeigt Heavier Trip

Come to FILMFEST HAMBURG and celebrate heavy metal with HEAVIER TRIP!

They play "Symphonic-Post-Apocalyptic-Reindeer-Grinding-Christ-Abusing-Extreme-War-Pagan-Fennoscandian-Metal" and are the most dangerous band in the world. So it's no wonder that Wacken, the most famous metal festival on the planet, wants them. But there is one problem: the chaotic quartet is in jail.

The sequel to the acclaimed hit comedy HEAVY TRIP is a chaotic road trip about music, friendship and slaughterhouses. The screening will be rounded off with a film discussion with the producer Sebastian Weyland, who will be present.

JUUSO LAATIO (*1981 in Finland) and JUKKA VIDGREN (*1983 in Finland) made several short films and music videos before achieving a surprise success with their first feature-length film Heavy Trip in 2018.

FILMFEST HAMBURG will take place from September 26 to October 5, 2024. Over 120 productions from all over the world will be shown as world, European, German or Hamburg premieres.
