In the organizer's words:
Discover the world of East Berlin film locations and cinema culture with us! We will take you to historic film locations between Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg. Using selected films and series, we will show you where the Skladanowsky brothers shot their first films. Schönhauser Allee was also a recurring backdrop for DEFA films. Arthouse cinemas also shaped the cultural life of the neighborhood and are still a central part of Berlin's film history today.
