A nightmare has become reality: A girl is born lifeless.
Her obstetrician begins to resuscitate her. Later, an emergency doctor takes over.
The little girl dies. Her parents call her Greta.
Four years later, her obstetrician is on trial - she is a doctor,
but also a midwife.
Greta had been lying upside down in her mother's womb. Why had Greta died? Was it her obstetrician's mistake? Had she deliberately caused Greta's death? The verdict: "Guilty of manslaughter".
Six years and nine months in prison, disbarment, compensation payments. Questions remain unanswered.
