Munich premiere of the documentary "PETRA KELLY - ACT NOW!"
Petra Kelly became famous not only as a co-founder of the Green Party and its star, but also as a woman who was able to establish a new, world-changing policy and take on two superpowers. This politically reflective cinema documentary tells the story of one of the most influential personalities in the old Bonn Republic.
The screening will be followed by a film discussion with the director Doris Metz, Lukas Beckmann (former parliamentary group leader of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and companion of Petra Kelly) and Amrei Knüsel (Fridays for Future Munich). Christina Wolf from Bayerischer Rundfunk will moderate the discussion after the film.
Content Petra Kelly became famous not only as a co-founder of the Green Party, but also as a woman who was able to establish a new, world-changing policy. As a symbolic figure of the peace movement in Europe, she relentlessly demanded the radical transformation of society. Environmental, peace and human rights issues were equally important to her. PETRA KELLY - ACT NOW! rediscovers the political activist and also sheds light on her role as a role model for today's movements.
