On August 5 at 8 p.m., we’ll be showing “Bitter Gold” in Spanish with German subtitles.💜

A neo-western about survival, responsibility, and dreams: In the Atacama Desert, Carola and her father Pacifico run an illegal mine. They secretly mine a hidden vein of gold until another miner discovers their hideout and the situation escalates. Pacifico is seriously injured, and Carola must take his place. In doing so, she faces the challenge of holding her own in a male-dominated world.
