In the organizer's words:

Since 1989, a memorial in Allach has commemorated the horror of the death march. The documentary film by Max Kronawitter shows this event and impressively illuminates the fates that took place during these harrowing hours right on the doorstep of the people of Allach.
The film also explores the question of what a dignified culture of remembrance can look like in the present day.
Following the screening, the filmmaker invites you to a discussion in which the background to the making of the film, central themes and questions from the audience will be discussed together.
The event is taking place as part of the "Week against Racism" in cooperation with BA 23 Allach-Untermenzing.
