Hippie Screening Studio presents THE LAST YEAR OF DARKNESS, a documentary about Funky Town - a small underground club in Chengdu, China. For young DJs, drag performers, lovers, ravers and skaters, it is a refuge to escape everyday life for a night. While the city is changing rapidly, the club is in danger of disappearing. With each sunrise, the protagonists confront the reasons that led them there.
