What happens when a classical clarinettist, a new music accordionist and a jazz bassist join forces? The result of this post-genre group is Firasso - a trio with a passionate, dynamic and contrasting musical language. Their original compositions draw on the musical vocabulary of the tango and klezmer tradition, Balkan music and French musette. Sometimes it sounds fiery and blazing, sometimes as refreshing as a summer downpour, sometimes as intense as a strong ristretto.

The effect of this music is always immediate, capturing the listener's body, heart and soul. In the band, the experienced musicians have found a common ground: an understanding of music and life. The view is loving, melancholy, but also infused with quiet irony - and with Firasso, sadness and humor are two sides of the same coin.
