In the organizer's words:
Hanmari Spiegel from South Africa, Aino Löwenmark from Sweden, found each other and stayed in Hamburg. Together they have suffered and loved, tried out and inspired each other. All these experiences resonate and make the new program "Walden" a very special musical event that embraces the world in all its diversity and lets its subtle nuances sparkle. The two play violin and piano, but they also sing! When they sing individually or together in Swedish, Afrikaans, Zulu and German, they unleash a captivating dynamic that moves playfully between folk, pop, classical and jazz like the eponymous butterfly.
